[CIS] Swimming Teaching Assistant cum Lifeguard

Assist with maintenance and janitorial duties, such as deck clean- up, pool skimming, pool setup, litter pick- up, and pool fouling clean- up.
Execute emergency procedures and utilize safety/rescue equipment when necessary.
Attend and actively participate in meetings and training sessions for ongoing professional development.
Ensure that all pool equipment is in place, operational, and appropriately stored after use.
Assist in providing swimming instruction, skill evaluation, and supervision of participants, emphasizing accident prevention, rescue skills, public education, and public relations.
Promptly report any damage or maintenance issues to the Pool Manager for follow- up and resolution.
Monitor and control access to the swimming program, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
Contribute to the planning, conducting, and implementation of safe and educational swimming lessons.
Guard and secure the pool area at all times when students are on the premises, adhering to Health Regulations and relevant policy and procedures manuals.
Perform administrative tasks to support the program, including marking attendance, student pick- up/drop- off, and other related duties.
Ensure the safety and supervision of participants in the pool and pool area, maintaining constant vigilance.

Minimum 1 year experience in equivalent position
Minimum Intermediate Degree
Must have Swimming teaching certificate
Demonstrate appropriate level of fitness to effectively carry out rescues and job duties.
Must have a rescue training certificate and complete Standard First Aid and Cardio- Pulmonary Resuscitation certifications
