[CISS] IT Team Leader

Team Leadership:

- Foster professional development and skill enhancement within the team.
- Provide effective leadership to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

School System Management:

- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all data and information systems.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the school&039;s information systems.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and implement technology solutions to enhance educational processes.

Data Management:

- Manage data backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures.

Helpdesk Support:

- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating when necessary.
- Manage the school helpdesk, providing timely and effective support to end- users.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base to facilitate efficient issue resolution.

Infrastructure and Network Management:

- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure necessary IT equipment and services.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure a reliable and secure IT environment.

Training and Documentation:

- Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Develop and conduct training programs for end- users on relevant IT tools and systems.

Budget Management:

- Contribute to the development of the IT budget and ensure cost- effective use of resources.
- Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings

Excellent problem- solving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of school information systems and data management best practices.
Experience in managing IT infrastructure and networks.
Familiarity with helpdesk support processes and tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, or relevant vendor certifications are a plus
Proven experience in a leadership role within an IT environment, preferably in an educational setting.
