Cloud Operations Engineer

Responsibilities: Responsible for ensure reliable and secure day- to- day operations of Azure and Google Cloud environments, supporting cloud maintenance, compliance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Cloud Operations Support (45%)
- Track and monitor daily cloud health metrics to maintain operational stability.
- Address cloud- related incidents promptly and ensure minimal service disruption.
- Assist in optimizing cloud resource usage to improve performance and cost efficiency.
Cloud Maintenance & Documentation (15%)
- Maintain and update operational documentation to support audits and troubleshooting.
- Execute routine and emergency maintenance for Azure and Google Cloud systems.
- Assist in planning and performing infrastructure upgrades with minimal downtime.
Risk Management & Collaboration (20%)
- Ensure cloud operations align with regulatory standards (e.g., SBV, internal policies).
- Coordinate with cloud, IT teams, and end- users to resolve issues effectively.
- Detect and report potential risks in cloud operational processes.
Process Improvement (20%)
- Implement cloud operation best practices and contribute feedback for continuous improvement.
- Streamline operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Support automation initiatives for repetitive operational tasks.
Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
Familiarity with Azure and Google Cloud platforms and monitoring tools.
Knowledge of cloud operations, scripting, and automation basics.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5 years (Senior Specialist)/ 3 year (Specialist)/ 2 year (Senior Officer)/ 1 year (Officer) experience cloud operations or IT infrastructure support.
