About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team and help customers design and implement enterprise- grade solutions. You will work closely with sales teams, customers, and partners to address critical business challenges by architecting scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. Your expertise in cloud technologies, enterprise migrations, disaster recovery, high availability, and security will drive successful customer outcomes and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to understand customer business needs, challenges, and goals.
Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and presentations to position tailored solutions.
Solution Design:
Design robust, scalable architectures that incorporate high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and security best practices.
Build solutions for application and data migration to AWS, focusing on best practices
Create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and prototypes to demonstrate technical feasibility.
Technical Leadership:
Provide expert guidance on designing cloud environments, ensuring HA through multi- AZ and multi- region deployments, and security
Optimize for cost, scalability, and performance with tools like Auto Scaling, Spot Instances, and Savings Plans.
Security & Compliance:
Advise on network security (e.g., VPC design, NACLs, WAF), data encryption (at rest and in transit), and identity management (IAM, SSO).
Ensure solutions comply with customer- specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
Migration Expertise:
Collaborate with migration teams to ensure smooth execution with minimal disruption.
Lead migration planning for enterprise workloads (e.g., databases, applications, enterprise systems like SAP, CRM, …).
Assess on- premises environments, perform readiness assessments, and create detailed migration blueprints.
Training and Enablement:
Enable internal teams on solution design principles and the value of new technologies.
Conduct customer and partner training sessions to showcase best practices in cloud migration, HA/DR strategies, and security.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Pre- Sales, or Technical Consulting.
Proven expertise in designing and migrating enterprise applications to AWS.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with migration tools like AWS DMS, DRS, and database replication techniques.
Expertise in AWS cloud technologies, including compute, storage, networking, and database services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, …).
In- depth knowledge of security best practices, including IAM, data encryption, and compliance frameworks.
Proficiency in architecting HA and DR solutions using cloud- native tools and frameworks.
Soft Skills:
Ability to engage in complex problem- solving and decision- making in dynamic environments.
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical solutions to both technical and non- technical audiences.
Certifications:
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus
AWS Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Datadog).
Experience in implementing FinOps strategies for cost optimization.
