Be environmentally aware
Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
Meet all health and hygiene requirements
Contribute to Kitchen revenue through effective food cost control
Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high quality standards expected by hotel
Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
Assist other sections wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Provide support to the Kitchen brigade
Perform tasks within a timely manner
Prepare all mis- en- place for all relevant menus
Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of HACCP guidelines
Minimum of 2 years progressive experience in high- volume kitchen in International Hotel Brand
