• Supply guests, residents’ directions and information regarding property amenities, services and hours of operation and local areas of interest, cultural and commercial activities.
• Utilise every opportunity to maximise hotel revenue (e.g. restaurant bookings, limousine services, tours etc..)
• Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
• Protect guest and associate’s security by never revealing any personal information, room numbers, addresses, telephone numbers etc. unless authorised by a manager.
• Read noticed board daily to keep updated on all current information. Attend departmental meetings. Familiarise yourself of the daily activities and meetings that are being held in the hotel. Participate/Conduct the daily department 15- minute training.
• Check up all resort’s car fleets on duty shift to make sure all in good condition and ready for services.
• Understand the resort’s Fire and Safety procedures. To undergo training in all fire and security measures whenever required.
• Assist management to ensure having necessary resources to effectively perform their jobs (suppliers, equipment and inventor…)
• Recognize repeated/VIP customers and their preferences as well.
• Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Bell person, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, Service Center etc.…) as necessary to resolve guest’s call, request or problem.
• Respond to guest, residents’ requests for special arrangement or services (e.g. spa service, transportation, religious services, financial services, business center services, interpretation services, reservations, dry cleaning/laundry service, entertainment/sporting events, shopping, courier etc.…) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers.
• Check Concierge’s stocks daily to make sure have enough tools to run jobs efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear proper uniform at all times. Adhere to the hotel’s grooming standards as stated in the associate handbook.
