OVERALL PURPOSE
As a Consulting manager, you will work with and lead diverse team of individuals with expertise in engineering, the sciences, financial and operational analysis, geographic analysis, and applied economics. You will work independently and in teams with leading Fortune 500 and 1000 companies on engagements that help them build and expand their businesses in Asian markets. As a manager, you will oversee, plan and execute on multiple projects within our consulting, M&A, or economic development practice. You will be responsible for presenting findings and reports to clients’ senior management and C- level executives on strategic, financial, and operational decisions.
Consulting Managers will generally organize and manage multiple consulting engagement teams to effectively deliver strategic analysis and tactical commercial advice to the company’s clients as contracted, on- schedule, within budget and exceeding the clients’ expectations. They will also work with directors and the business development team to strategize, plan, and execute on new ways to grow the individual practices.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute and deliver consulting engagement tasks on- schedule and within assigned costs when assigned as a leader of an engagement team.
• Lead and develop staff to ensure their effectiveness in delivering appropriate and accurate advice to clients as part of a cohesive team.
• Assign resources, oversee and lead engagement teams to deliver consulting assignments on- schedule and within the company’s profitability targets.
• Develop new consulting business either with existing or new clients.
• Actively participate in the global management team and administration of the company’s consulting practice.
• Be responsible for P&L for the Vietnam office, develop and implement strategy business development actions plan to achieve the target revenue.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced degree in business, economics, management, engineering or the sciences or professional equivalent an advantage.
• Proven consulting, project management and leadership skills.
• Living or working in Vietnam at least 5 years
• Excellent written and oral professional business communication and presentation skills in English and local language.
• Demands that all deliverables are accurate and within set formats.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work under pressure.
• B.A/B.S. degree from a top- ranked university in any discipline; an honors degree is a distinct advantage.
• Able to use all MS software products competently at an advanced level. Other software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, STATA, SPSS, ArcEditor, a plus.
• Excellent at critically assessing problems through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Takes the initiative to identify creative solutions to client and company problems.
• Academic or professional experience undertaking market or financial analysis preferably at a professional services firm (consulting, market research, banking/finance) or within industry (FMCG, manufacturing, medical devices, healthcare, etc).
• Experience executing engagements and taking responsibility to ensure project and client tasks are executed on- time and at the highest level of quality.
• At least 10 years of business consulting or other relevant experience with experience in marketing and selling professional services. A minimum of 3 years of management or team leader work experience.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
