Overview:
As a Country Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the company&039;s operations in Vietnam, focusing on international student recruitment study platforms. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, and revenue, expanding market share, and ensuring the successful delivery of Upgrad GSP’s educational services.
Responsibilities
Business Development:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and understand local market dynamics.
Identify and develop strategic partnerships with educational institutions, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Develop and implement business plans, sales strategies, and marketing campaigns to achieve revenue targets.
Support decision- making by the leadership team through data analysis and forecasting.
Team Management:
Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Recruit, hire, and train a high- performing team of sales representatives, country coordinators, and other relevant staff.
Provide leadership, guidance, and team support to ensure they are motivated and equipped to achieve their goals.
Operations Management:
Manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
Oversee the day- to- day operations of the country office, including sales, marketing, customer service, and administrative functions.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Customer Relationship Management:
Gather customer feedback to improve service quality and product offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, local Government entities, and educational institutions.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong data analysis and problem- solving skills.
Fluency in English and the local language is essential.
Strong understanding of the international education market and its trends.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the EdTech industry, preferably as a Country Manager or similar position.
Bachelor&039;s degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
