KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement comprehensive fraud detection and prevention strategies
- Enhance operational efficiency of existing fraud detection and prevention strategies to mitigate fraud losses and balance with expenses
- Innovate tools, techniques and processes to improve productivity of especially data related tasks
- Identify potential risk factors from and attack surface of malicious actors by a combination of business acumen, technical understanding, digital savviness as well as statistical inference
- Mentor and supervise team members
- Refactor code base to follow programming best practices and ensure long term scalability and sustainability
- Conduct research and analysis to communicate data driven insights and recommendations
- Keep up to date with latest technologies, especially related to fraud schemes and fraud solutions, in collaboration with colleagues across many teams and external vendors

- Experience in Python programming and programming best practices
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle SQL preferred)
- High proficiency in English, both in verbal communication and in writing
- Substantial experience (~5 years) in data analytics or adjacent roles
- Strong experience in various aspects of data analytics work: research design, sampling, EDA, statistical inference, insight communication
- Substantial experience in managing small to medium sized teams and projects
