Data Engineer

Our Data Engineering team solves complex problems and delivers data to propel our business forward, powering the insights used in every decision.
We’re looking for Data Engineers to join our Data team for our Global Bank to drive the force behind our business strategies and decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and support our enterprise data warehouses, analytical databases, and infrastructure
Work with the team to re- platform our existing data architecture to next- generation tooling and data architecture
Assist in developing tools/processes to enable our business to self- serve
Build/Maintain our data pipelines in Python and SQL to ensure that data is delivered in a timely manner
Work closely with our Data Scientists and Data Analysts to implement new insights and statistical models

Key tech you’ll play within this role

BigQuery, SQL Server and Redshift
Cloud Dataflow/Apache Beam
High- velocity streaming data, behavioral data and well as structured and unstructured data
Both AWS and GCP
Airflow, Cloud Composer and Pentaho
Docker & Kubernetes

Requirements:

Experience in systems architecture – particularly in complex, scalable, and fault- tolerant distributed systems
Understand designs of resilience, fault tolerance, high availability, and high scalability, ...
Having experience in the field of Finance- Banking is a priority.
Cloud experience AWS.
Being open- minded, willing to learn new things
Good at communication & team working
Proficient in the programming language (Python, R)
Good at multi- threading, atomic operations, computation framework: Dataframe, SQL..., distributed storage, distributed computing
Have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer, preferably in Banking- Financing industries.
Bachelor’s or higher’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
