The Data Governance Specialist
plays a crucial role in managing and protecting our company’s data. He/she will be responsible for translating policy into governance goals, tools, and processes, and will oversee the operation of these processes. This role will also work closely with various stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and protection across the organization.
What you will do
Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures;
Monitor and audit data quality, developing strategies for data quality improvement;
Develop and maintain data catalogs, data dictionaries, and other data governance tools;
Translate policy into governance goals, tools, and processes;
Oversee the operation of data governance processes and provide reports on the progress of data governance goals;
Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations;
Collaborate with data stewards and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency;
Provide training and support to data stewards and other stakeholders on data governance processes and tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a numerical field;
Excellent analytical skills problem- solving aptitude and detail- oriented mindset;
Self- learner and quick to adopt new knowledge and technical skills.
Proven experience with data governance or compliance, especially in Banking/ Finance sector, is a strong advantage;
Knowledge of data privacy, data protection, and enterprise data management;
