DevSecOps Engineer

Proven ability to install, upgrade, and maintain Windows- based applications ensuring compatibility and stability.
Assessing risks of Windows updates on application stability and security.
Identifying potential conflicts between application components (e.g., NHibernate, Log4Net, DevExpress) and OS updates.
Familiarity with security patching, vulnerability management, and compliance standards.
Strong experience with Windows OS administration and upgrades (Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server).
Ability to analyze software dependencies and compatibility impacts across different Windows versions and security patches.
Planning mitigation strategies for compatibility issues before deployment.

Packaging & Deployment: Creating and maintaining scripts for client workstation releases.
Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, batch scripting for SOE (Standard Operating Environment) deployment and workstation setup.
Security Tools & Processes: SonarQube, Cybellum, security risk assessments, data minimization.
Framework & Library Upgrades: NHibernate, Log4Net, DevExpress, SQL Server.
DevSecOps practices: Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Threat Modeling, SBOM management (e.g., CycloneDX).
Additional Knowledge:
Experience with Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC and hardware platforms (e.g., Dell XE4, Advantech DS- 330).
Understanding of Active Directory setup and domain configuration.
Familiarity with AUTO11- ED3 standard and security compliance requirements.
