Job Description
Develops online marketing strategies to drive leads, increase volume, market share, and hotel revenue, ensure through gap analysis, appropriate support to correct performance within cost effective targets
To work with DOSM and Marketing team to plan and implement all digital marketing campaigns including digital campaign collateral
To be responsible for improving the design, usability, content and conversion points of the hotel’s website.
Keeps leadership informed on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.
To be responsible for the smooth running and completion of projects across site builds, online advertising, social media, maximizing online sales opportunities and search marketing
Involve in the development of annual marketing strategies
To be responsible for managing online branding, communications and campaigns through the hotel’s website, email marketing, building the online community, attracting new customers, SEO.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
To be responsible for developing, executing and delivering the hotel’s digital/ online marketing strategy, planning and budget to include online, new media, web, e- commerce and SEO to drive the business forwards through key marketing channels.
To review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively deliver the communication and business objectives
Job Requirements
Good understanding of customers and market dynamics and requirements
Proficiency using tools to track and report on response rate, traffic and pick up
Experience in website management and digital content management
Understanding of the principle of design for digital communications, the digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand
Ability to interpret brand parameters and goals and setup a vision for achieving them through communication vehicles, sell this vision and execute it
Experience of campaign management eg Google AdWords, AdMob, Email, search engine, ability to generate inbound links from the internet
A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years working experience, expertise in digital marketing and online PR in an agency or consumer branding environment
Ability to communicate fluently in primary language (English) of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally.
Strong understanding and appreciation of the concept of luxury and quality.
A good working knowledge of web analytics; Photoshop and Dreamweaver ideal but not essential
Experience of budgeting, reporting and analysis (Excel)
Ability to deal effectively with internal customers, external customers, and third party suppliers.
Strong organizational skills a must. Candidate must be detail- oriented, able to multi- task and handle high- stress situations.
Bachelor/ Master degree in Marketing, E- commerce, Business or Communications.
Luxury Hotel Digital/ Online Marketing experience preferred.
Broader digital marketing skills encompassing keyword generation, PPC marketing and banner advertising.
Experience in working with agencies is an advantage.
