Director of Sales (Korean Language)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular sales calls, business trips, trade shows, and roadshows in Korea.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create market- specific promotions and advertising.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean travel agencies, MICE planners, Wedding Planners, corporate clients
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan targeting the Korean market.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market analysis
Negotiate contracts, group bookings, and special packages tailored for Korean partners
Identify new business opportunities and proactively drive sales to achieve targets.
Coordinate with the hotel’s operation and revenue teams to ensure service excellence for Korean guests
Monitor market trends, competitors’ activities, and customer behavior within the Korean segment

Required Skills:

Fluency in Korean and English (both spoken and written).
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional networks.
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of Korean customer behavior.
Team leadership and collaboration skills.
Strategic thinking and proactive problem- solving abilities.
Sales- driven mindset with a strong ability to close deals.

Required Knowledge:

In- depth knowledge of the Korean travel market (leisure, corporate, MICE, weddings).
Solid understanding of hotel sales processes, revenue management principles
Good knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.

Required Experience:

Experience participating in international travel fairs and conducting sales missions in Korea
Previous experience in 5- star hotel/resort is preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2–3 years focusing on the Korean market.
