Position: Director of Sales & Marketing
The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the daily sales efforts and is responsible for the overall positioning of the hotel, brand communication and the development of customers for the property including Rooms and Dining. In addition, he/she responsible for rental revenue, yield strategies, implementation, market performance and meeting budget, forecast, and optimal business mix targets. Strategies will include pricing, status, direct sales, market mix, marketing, and public relations. Candidates must have a dynamic leadership style, possessing excellent communication and decision- making skills and an astute business acumen.

• Monitor and review sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities in order to achieve set goals/budgets and forecast.
• Work with the General Manager and Cluster Director of Sales and relevant parties to develop a tactical marketing plan that identifies market niche and segments
• Establish account qualification criteria and use market research to identify priority accounts and assign sales to assure optimal coverage
• Develop accounts(corporate/wholesale/partnerships) from sales activities and generate leads and bookings for properties.
• Close coordination and open communications with Cluster Director of Sales and the property
• Manage Social media platforms with Branding Marketing Communications to ensure consistent posting and adherence to our guidelines.
• Exposure in all key markets such as Corporate, MICE, Inbound, OTA and TMC, etc.
• Drive brand awareness with Branding/Marketing communications and together with F&B Manager to create a year calendar of activities.
• Lead, manage and motivate an effective team of sales professionals to achieve budgeted sales.
• Implementation, management and measurement of sales strategies and tactical campaigns.
• Develop and manage marketing/sales budgets and maintain effective internal marketing communications
• Establish team sales goals and allocate key accounts to each member.
• Participate with Corporate Tradeshow to enforce our presence/brand strength awareness.
• Optimize room utilization by accessing the demand and supply for rooms
• Manage department budget, forecasts and operating expenses.
• Plan sales trips to key source markets for more account’s penetration/grow the accounts.
