Embedded Software Development (BSP)

Take part in project/product planning activities (identify dependencies, work breakdown structure, etc.).
Own the architecture artefacts:o Architecture whitepaper or High- Level Architecture document, Block Diagrams, DM cost analysis
Provide technical direction and drive key technical issues resolutions and innovation solutions across sites in multiple programs. Identifies problems, determines alternatives and evaluates them to arrive a\at an acceptable solution with all aspects considered.
Oversee detailed decision analysis for decision making such as selection of platform, chipset, architecture and tools/methodologies.
Identify Critical Parameter, Key Performance Index, DFMEA, design measurement method and risk mitigation action plans, review and monitor measurement and risk mitigation action progress.
Coach and grow the competency of the team by providing advice, guidance, information and training.
Create the software architecture and design deliverables which includes detailed architecture document, design documents, Message Sequence Chart (MSC).
Define the specifications which includes Technical Requirement Document, System Requirement, Software Requirement Specifications for new software platform and/or new system features/solutions

Total 2 headcounts support on this 12- month project with Onsite working mode – require to come over MSI Penang onsite throughout the project duration.
Experience or proven competency in Android Frameworks (preferred) or Linux Framework.
At least 8+ years of product SW development experience working with Bluetooth stack, Bluetooth Classic and BLE- BlueZ, BlueDroid, Fluoride and BT profiles like GATT, SPP, HSP, HFP, HRP, Wifi 5/5GHz, Wifi 6/6e, GNSS, USB, IPC
Experience with CTS/GTS is a plus. Google Mobile Services (GMS) Test Suite and Google Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) certification and issue debugging
Knowledge of mobile device emerging technologies, including Smartphone LTE architectures, geo- location technologies, camera/video, and touch screen displays is a plus.
