EMS Buyer (Electronic Manufacturing Services)

Job Purpose: Soley to facilitate sourcing and procurement activities as they relate to customers sales inquiries.
Review customer RFQ information to ensure validity and completeness before sending RFQ to suppliers.
Confidence to pick up the phone or schedule meetings with leadership to resolves issues immediately when there is a barrier to execute a deliverable.
Coordinate with EMS sales team to ensure timely deliverables are met related to costing for all materials of each inquiry.
Thinking flexibly in a dynamic environment as no two inquiries will be the same, so unique solutions will need to be provided regularly.
Troubleshoot information gaps between RFQ information, Customer Understanding, Supplier Understanding and Internal Understanding.
Negotiate optimal pricing for initial quotations, intermediary quotations, and final quotations.
Maintain organization of information while managing multiple inquiries simultaneously.
Work in constant communication with supplier base ensuring rapid timelines are kept for quotation submissions.
Collaborate with strategic sourcing team about realistic costs to submit to EMS sales team.

Bachelors Degree – Preference: Business Management, Supply Chain, International Trade.
Experience Required

5 Years Optimal – with leadership experience.
3 Years Preferred – with experience in strategic sourcing / procurement.
2 Years Minimum – with proven portfolio of successful executions related to Job Duties above.

Knowledge Required

Preferred – Mandarin speaking – but not required
English Language (it’s the common language used at FRIWO)
