Engineering Project Director

• Responsible for inspecting property on a regular basis and ensuring any maintenance improvements are actioned within the designated time frame.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure that interaction and communications between departments within the property are clear and effectively maintained to support the smooth running of the property.
• Complete accurately all corporate reporting requirements for the role.
• Develop project master plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, safety standards and environmental requirements.
• Prepare and submit legally required and confidential documentation related to the operation.
• Lead all engineering and construction projects, including new developments, renovations, refurbishments and major capital expenditures.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Assist General Manager on ensuring that property complies with all legal, statutory Health and Safety requirements.
• Products and services of my department will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Attend or conduct the designated meetings and briefings as instructed by the General Manager with a two- way flow of pertinent information and communications.
• Revise and control that my department’s operational budget is strictly adhered to and all costs will be continually monitored and controlled to drive profitability, while taking into consideration the preservation of required standards with every decision made.
• Integrate sustainability principles, energy efficiency and environmentally responsible solutions into project design and execution.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications and engineering calculations.
• Oversee all engineering disciplines including civil, structural, MEP, fire & life safety and specialist systems.
• Minimize payroll costs by maximizing productivity and efficient scheduling of hosts.
• Lead a team of engaged and experienced hosts to provide the Six Senses exceptional standards of service.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time within approved budgets and according to defined quality standards.
• Perform any additional duties given to me by the General Manager.
• Focus on the rejuvenation of the property.
• Support brand standards related to wellness, sustainability commitments.
• Ensure all projects adhere to Health Safety Sustainability standards and promote a strong safety culture on- site.

Strong in construction, renovation, fire life safety
Has experience in hospitality, resort.
Able to communicate in Englis
Strong expertise in Engineering Management and Team Leadership
Proven project, capex & budget management
Strong leadership & problem- solving skills
Bachelor&039;s degree in Engineering or related field.
