EVS Supervisor

Position Summary:

The EVS (Environmental Services) Supervisor manages the EVS team to ensure the casino&039;s cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at the highest levels. This role involves supervising daily cleaning operations, managing EVS staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and working in shifts to cover all operational hours. The EVS Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for all guests and staff.

• Oversee EVS operations during assigned shifts, ensuring coverage for all operational hours.
• Perform regular inspections of the premises to ensure cleanliness standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage administrative duties related to the EVS department, including scheduling, record- keeping, and inventory management.
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the EVS staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Provide regular updates and reports on the status of cleaning operations and propose improvements as needed.
• Train EVS staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Oversee the daily cleaning activities to ensure all areas of the casino are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the casino are regularly cleaned and maintained.
• Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies and proper maintenance of cleaning equipment.

Requirement:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or facility management is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental services or custodial roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
