Finance Director

- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
- Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, auditors, etc.).
- Retain constant awareness of the company&039;s financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Conduct analysis and projections to evaluate different strategic initiatives and present those options to the executive management team and board.
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization&039;s operations.
- Set up and oversee the company&039;s finance system.
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to the executive management team and board.

- In- depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, laws and best practices.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic & analytical thinker.
- CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
- Background and understanding of VAS and IFRS.
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
- Experience with revenue recognition for SaaS or subscription- based sales.
- Expertise in modeling the financial impact of new products or strategic initiatives.
- Comfortable in a fast- moving startup environment
- Expertise in modeling sales pricing and discount strategies.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to lead the finance and accounting department.
- Basic understanding of tax in Vietnam.
- Willingness to be challenged on their opinions. Ability to professionally defend their opinions in front of company leadership.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Strong leader, ability to work and motivate different types of employees.
- Experience dealing with Vietnamese tax authorities beyond just filing forms, but also explaining the business and the tax treatment for the various revenue streams of a business.
- Basic knowledge of the proper accounting for the cost of developing software and content creation.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Proven experience as director of finance or similar role.
