The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting expertise and a solid understanding of hotel daily operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance. This role plays a key part in aligning academic and operational financial strategies in a hospitality education environment.
Hotel Academy Saigon is seeking a detail- oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to lead the financial operations of our academy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular internal audits and support external audits.
Liaise with internal operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen, etc.) to ensure financial accuracy and control of hotel operations integrated into the academy.
Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and relevant tax regulations.
Lead the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and processes.
Supervise the accounting team and ensure timely execution of daily tasks including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
Advise management on financial implications of business decisions.

• Good Communication and writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Good Communication skills.
• Strong Leadership skills in managing teams.
• 3 years in the similar role at hospitality accounting operations or an equivalent combination of education and work- related experience.
• Fluent in English communication
• Professional accounting certifications may requested by local laws and regulation
