Financial Controller (Management Level)

The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial performance, financial planning, and risk management. This role will work independently to focus on delivering high- quality financial analysis, ensuring strong financial controls, and acting as a strategic finance partner to the Accounting team and key stakeholders.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management:

Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and cashflow.
Monitor financial performance and identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Responsible for working with banking partners to expand and manage the Company’s credit facilities.
Oversee the development and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, policies, and reporting.

Accounting Partnership & Compliance:

Other assignments from the Line Manager.
Review and oversee statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory submissions in collaboration with the Accounting team.
Act as a finance business partner to the Accounting team, providing guidance, review, and consultation on accounting matters.
Collaborate with other departments to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and relevant laws.
Review and monitor vendor contracts and financial commitments to ensure financial soundness and compliance.
Coordinate and work with external stakeholders including auditors, tax authorities, and banks.

3- 4 years of experience; with 1 year at the same level/role.
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
Experience in managing external audits and tax inspections.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Having experience in Retail/FMCG is preferred.
Bachelor‘s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional qualification preferred.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of VAS, tax regulations, and other relevant laws.
