Front‐End Developer - Shopify / E‐Commerce

Misen is seeking a skilled Front- End Developer with a strong Shopify background to help us craft seamless, high- performance user experiences across our global e- commerce storefronts. You will work closely with Product and Creative teams to translate designs into responsive, fast- loading, and conversion- focused interfaces.
What You’ll Do

Develop headless components in React / Next.js using Shopify Storefront API.
Integrate third‐party apps & scripts (reviews, analytics, A/B tests) without performance loss.
Convert design inspirations (reference websites) into high‐performing Shopify themes.
Translate Figma layouts into pixel‐perfect, responsive UI with Liquid, HTML/CSS/JS.
Own Core Web Vitals: lazy‐load, code‐split, image & font optimisation.
Build & optimise Shopify themes (Liquid, HTML/CSS/JS) for speed & conversion.

Deep knowledge of responsive design, cross‐browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG).
Experience with React, Next.js or similar (Gatsby/Remix) for headless Shopify setups.
Ability to read & write technical English.
Familiarity with Git, Shopify CLI, theme‐kit, and basic SEO best‐practices.
2+ years front‐end development with Shopify Liquid & modern JS/TS.

Nice‐to‐have

Exposure to CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Netlify, Vercel).
Understanding of CRO, A/B testing tools (Optimizely/Google Optimize).
Working knowledge of GraphQL, Shopify Hydrogen, or Remix.
