Full Stack Developer (for new EdTech Platform)

Role DescriptionWe seek a Full Stack Developer with at least 2 years of experience to lead the development of a new educational platform. This innovative platform will empower teachers with AI- assisted tools, featuring auto- grading, AI functionalities, and integration with OpenAI&039;s API for enhanced educational interactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of successful projects in building platforms, web apps, or similar projects with AI integrations and maintain, upgrade, and refine the platform post- launch. Familiarity with Bubble.io for MVP development is beneficial but not mandatory. Inspiration from competitor platforms will guide development to surpass industry standards.Key Responsibilities

Develop and design the EdTech platform, starting with an MVP, using modern practices.
Analyze features from competitor platforms for inspiration.
Integrate APIs, focusing on OpenAI’s GPT functionalities.
Ensure the codebase is secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Work with educational experts to customize the platform for practical application.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and update based on user feedback.
Launch, monitor performance, and collect user feedback.

Technical Skills

Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Proven ability to develop and maintain scalable applications.
Independence and proficiency in a fully remote setting.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science or related experience.
Exceptional problem- solving skills and attention to detail.
2+ years in Full- Stack Development.

Front- End Proficiency: Experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is essential. Familiarity with frameworks such as React or AngularJS is advantageous.
A good understanding of UI/UX design, with a preference for candidates who can demonstrate a good aesthetic sense and an understanding of best practices.
Strong experience with API integrations, preferably AI platforms.
Back- End Expertise: Strong understanding of server- side programming languages, like Node.js or Python. Knowledge of MVC frameworks and database management (SQL, PostgreSQL) is crucial.

Background in EdTech or the education sector.Experience with Bubble.io or similar no- code platforms (for MVP development).
