Fullstack Javascript Developer (Senior)

ABOUT THE JOB

Provide guidance for junior developers to complete tasks
Manage and lead up to a medium- scale project team, arrange project team resources assigned according to the project implementation plan
Select the right technology solutions for building the regional end- to- end sales platform
Responsible for software development and maintenance of mission- critical front- end trading systems for multiple BUs
Perform the full SDLC cycle task, i.e. system design, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement.
Perform systems administration and daily IT operation tasks
Carry out a feasibility study of requirements and functional specs with users and other functional stakeholders
Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions
Implement computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems, designing and testing standards and solutions
Interact with users to collect requirements and provide technical solutions
Review current technology and driveways to leverage and improve productivity
Provide integration solutions with other systems
Translate user requirements to functional & technical specs, lead the project team members to perform the development according to confirmed technical specs
Get used to the Agile development process and reach the goal of each sprint

ABOUT YOU

Knowledge of modern container technology, such as Docker, K8s
Strong leadership experience. Proven track records in managing regional- based Front- end systems, preferably experience in implementing IT systems/projects to multiple BUs
Deep appreciation of the latest and emerging technologies and practices, such as DevOps, Cloud, Microservice Architecture, and Mobile development
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JSON Web Token
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
Experience with common front- end development tools such as Webpack, NPM, etc.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline from the front- end build perspective
Good command of spoken and written English.
5+ years of application development experience
Bachelor’s degree or college’s degree in information technology or similar technical fields
Strong insurance knowledge, problem- solving, and analytical skills
Experience with modern programming languages such as Node.js, ReactJS, Java
