Job Purpose:
We are seeking a creative and adaptable Game Designer to join our team, specializing in designing games for very young players (below 10 years old) on a big edutainment game reaching millions of players worldwide.
In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and educational gameplay experiences that align with client specifications and developmental needs of young children. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that the games meet both creative and technical requirements, ultimately delivering high- quality products that captivate and entertain our youngest audience.
Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate with client stakeholders, including educational experts, to integrate educational content and ensure alignment with client&039;s learning objectives.
Design and develop gameplay mechanics, levels, and systems tailored specifically for young children, ensuring they are intuitive, easy to understand, and enjoyable.
Prototype and iterate on game concepts to refine gameplay mechanics and user interactions, considering feedback from internal teams and user testing sessions.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in game design, particularly focusing on games for young children, to continually innovate and improve our products.
Adapt and modify game design elements based on client feedback and technical constraints, maintaining flexibility throughout the design process.
Create and maintain game design documents, including concept pitches, feature specifications, and user interface designs.
Balance gameplay difficulty and complexity to accommodate the cognitive and motor skills development of young players as well as the game economy.

Creative problem- solving skills with a passion for creating entertaining and educational experiences for young children.
More than 2 years’ experience in Game Design, with a passion for video games, including knowledge of market trends and retro gaming.
Experience collaborating with data researchers and designing with a data- driven mindset and including familiarity with AI tools for concept documents.
Good understanding of child development principles, educational game design, gamification techniques, and child- friendly interface design.
Solid knowledge of Game Design, including mechanics, level design, UI/UX, and game reward systems.
Familiarity with mobile devices hardware, platforms, software technologies, and techniques.
Proficient in game design tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
Proven track record as a Game Designer with a portfolio demonstrating successful projects, ideally including games for young children or educational games.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
