Ambros Technology is an innovative tech company in Singapore. For the continuously growing video game industry, we provide the most cutting-edge technology solutions. Now we are looking for a Game Designer as below:

Key tasks

• Performing game design tasks as assigned by senior/lead game designers or producers


• Reviewing competitive products to generate new ideas


• Balancing and adjusting gameplay experiences to ensure the success of the product

The candidate will also need to

• Overseeing gameplay testing to ensure intended gaming experience and adherence to original vision


• Determining supplementary "virtual features" such as currency, shop items, menu design, and audio direction


• Defining meta, monetization, and retention strategies for the games


• Conducting regular design reviews throughout the game development process


• Checking, assigning, and possibly fixing bugs related to gameplay or feedback from other stakeholders


• Developing and maintaining high quality design documentation, including mechanics, story, menu flow, layout design, functional description, and guidelines


• Creating and managing documentation, production schedules, prototyping goals, and communication plans in collaboration with production staff

Must Have:

• At least 3 years of experience in a game designer role


• Good understanding of the market and target audience for mobile video games


• Strong passion for video games and solid understanding of game design, including mechanics, level design, and UI/UX


• Good communication, presentation, and storytelling skills


• Ability to adapt quickly to change and work well under pressure


• Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail


• Ability to work well alone and in a team, and cooperate with team members to provide support

Nice To Have:

• Basic programming knowledge and basic drawing/3D design skills


• Good understanding of business models, monetization psychology, and monetization strategy


• Solid understanding of retention strategy


• Good understanding of the capabilities and benefits of different mobile devices and platforms, as well as relevant software technologies and techniques
