Game Economy Designer (Bangkok based)
Responsibilities:
* Conceptualize and implement game designs, creating mathematical models that align with defined constraints and exhibit desired behavioral characteristics.
* Test mathematical outcomes to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
* Work alongside various teams to contribute to the creation of the next generation of leading games.
* Evaluate post- launch game performance and provide insights into customer behavior.
* Review games during implementation to verify they reflect the correct math model, making adjustments as needed to develop world- class math models.
* Develop new game mechanics and designs to enhance player engagement.
* Communicate and ensure that game implementations align with design specifications.
* Execute simulations of specific game features to supplement theoretical calculations.
* Analyze performance data from the marketplace to identify future game mechanics and industry trends.
* Collaborate with the Product Owner and key stakeholders to understand the portfolio, product strategy, and roadmap for upcoming games.
* Ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the company&039;s product strategy.
Requirements:
* Experience in designing or contributing to the design of 10+ games, encompassing a variety of game types and math models.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to create and manage large, complex spreadsheets.
* Strong expertise in combinatorics, probability theory, and statistics.
* Ability to organize design thinking processes that foster creativity and distinguish between good and great game ideas.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Proven track record of developing successful game concepts and delivering top- performing slot games for land- based or online companies.
* Bachelor&039;s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* Passion for playing games across multiple genres, with a particular interest in slots and casino games.
* Experience collaborating with development teams to create or adapt simulation programs.
* Knowledge of object- oriented program design.
