Garment Merchandiser

To communicate with customers, co- ordinate with sample room on sample development, translate technical sheets to ensure development conform to buyer’s requirements, and follow up the production status ensure shipments on schedule for bulk orders.

Job responsibilities

Follow up sample approval status in accordance to production plan and make sure readiness of approval comment for pre- production meeting.
Co- ordinate with production/MC/ Shipping to have final ship quantity, as well as cut off time to make sure shipment on- time.
Responsible for merchandising activities, assisting with purchase order execution.
Review and translate the Tech Packs from English to Vietnamese. Input information from technical worksheets and create data file.
Follow up Over/short shipment quantity as informed by MC Dept/Production until the case is closed.
Follow up production status and solve problems during production process and work out solutions to management level to get alignment among all teams to avoid any production impact.
Follow up sample request from 1st proto to production samples, liaise with internal and external customers to keep tracking the sampling and ensure submitted on time.
. Monthly report making to measure KPI of on time development and on time bulk shipment.
Handle the lab dip and sample prints for submission to ensure approval is obtained before buy ready.
Make sure final BOM and textile testing requirement also packing instruction readiness before Bulk production.
Coordinate with vendor/sourcing for materials meet proto sampling request.
Send Initial, inline, final inspection booking to customer&039;s QC timely to ensure no shipment delay or complaints from customers

Knowledge on costing is a must.
Excellent command of written and spoken English, Vietnamese.
Good in merchandising and product development, also strong in production follow up.
Strong team spirit, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
Minimum 3 years&039; solid experience, preferably with garment factory and merchandising background.
Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem- solving skills, able to meet deadlines, willing to learn.
