General Accountant cum Chief Accountant

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Chief Accountant will act as a key team member in accounting function who will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, robust financial reporting processes and systems in adherence to Local GAAP, Group’s Accounting Standards, other local regulations (tax, banking…) and internal control requirements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be responsible for preparation and delivering of periodic (month- end/ year- end) financial reports/ financial statement under VAS.
Monitor the day- to- day accounting records within the company, such as invoicing, and other transactions.
Maintain accounting system and enforce policies and procedures ensuring compliance with local regulation (Accounting, Tax, Banking)
Control and manage cash flow
Supervise the annual audits (internal and external)
Review and authorize the monthly accounts payable and receivable run
Master of Local Accounting system and inventory costing process.
Comply with laws, regulations and internal policies requirement.
Prepare ad- hoc/ monthly/quarterly/yearly/annual tax declarations and reports (VAT, CIT, WHT, PIT…)
Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
Other relevant tasks as assigned by General Director/ Head of Finance.
Support Head of Finance to manage the company’s budget.
Contact outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, and other accounting needs as necessary.
Coordinate with and support Head of Finance to analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
AUTHORITIES:
Access to limited confidential materials under direct supervision of Group Finance Manager of HQ/ General Director

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Objectivity, Independent at work, sensitivity, self- motivation.
Superior mathematical skills; leadership skills and experience; employee management
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance.
Chief Accountant certificate is a must.
Over 5 years of experience in the same management role.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
