Ninety Eight is looking for a meticulous and responsible General Accountant to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for managing all activities related to vendor payments, cost control, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting and tax regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable & Expense Control
Maintain and update the payment schedule, ensuring timely settlements to suppliers.
Post all related entries in accounting software (MISA).
Monitor and follow up on advances ensuring proper clearance and settlement.
Check the legality and validity of invoices, contracts, and attached documents.
Receive, verify, and record all payment requests from departments.
Reconcile payable balances with vendors and departments regularly.
Cost Management & Accruals
Estimate and record monthly accrued expenses for ongoing services.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure accurate cost allocation by department or project.
Prepare cost analysis reports for management review.
Asset & Tools Management
Update and manage fixed asset and tools lists monthly.
Calculate and record depreciation and amortization based on company policy.
Banking
Record and reconcile all accounting entries related to bank transactions.
Handle procedures for opening new corporate bank accounts and credit cards.
Prepare documentation for foreign currency sales and payments for overseas services.
Manage and execute all banking- related tasks, including fund transfers and payment requests.
VAT Declaration Support
Check and ensure invoices meet tax declaration requirements.
Prepare and support monthly VAT reports and declarations.
Documentation & Reporting
Support month- end and year- end closing processes.
Update weekly CF reports.
Prepare cost analysis monthly reports for management review.
Ensure all accounting documents are properly stored, organized, and recorded in the accounting system.
Other Tasks
Record revenue and payroll, monitor receivables and payables, and prepare monthly financial reports for Ivy Company.
Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by the line manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Advanced knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and the prevailing tax regulations
At least 3 years of experience in a General Accounting position
Familiar with Excel, accounting softwares (MISA SME, Fast)
Detail- oriented, diligent, and honest
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
University degree in Accounting – Auditing- Finance
Good interpersonal skills.
