Adhering to Malca- Amit Dispatcher Procedures
Team Leadership and Supervision:
Supervise and lead ground operational teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
Lead the joint venture MAKTC crew team for daily pick up/ delivery
Execute weekly checks, ensuring team alignment with organizational objectives.
Scheduling and Coordination:
Prepare and provide work roster and schedule for transport team members
Organize and manage logistics for the warehousing/ vault arrangements.
Assign drivers or vehicles to specific routes and tasks efficiently.
Coordinate transportation schedules for vehicles, drivers, or carriers to meet delivery demands.
Route Planning and Optimization:
Consider factors such as traffic conditions, distance, and vehicle capacity in route planning.
Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely and cost- effective delivery.
Communication and Dispatch:
Communicate with drivers, transportation teams, and customers to provide route information and updates.
Dispatch drivers or vehicles as per scheduled routes and assignments.
Resource Management:
Manage transportation resources effectively, including vehicles and driver schedules.
Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules.
Monitoring and Tracking:
Monitor transportation activities, track vehicle movements, and ensure adherence to schedules.
Utilize tracking systems or software to maintain real- time visibility of vehicles and shipments.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
Handle emergencies or unforeseen situations affecting transportation operations.
Address transportation issues or delays proactively and find alternative solutions to ensure timely deliveries.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare reports on: daily trucking report, transportation performance, efficiency, and cost analysis; daily cargo deliver in- out vault, or other report relating to Manager&039;s assignment
Approve delivery and save signed POD/ DSS/supporting documents relaing to transportation to NG .
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including delivery schedules, vehicle logs, and incident reports.
