JOB DESCRIPTION
What you will do:
As the Senior Credit Risk Specialist, you will play a pivotal role by leading the underwriting process, leveraging big data to support decision- making, overseeing the company&039;s credit administration matters while also ensuring that all credit related activities are in compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements:
Manage and monitor the efficacy of (i) eKYC, (ii) antifraud, (iii) credit policies for both customer and merchant including procedures and supporting mechanisms in controlling credit & recovery risk and making appropriate credit & recovery related recommendations.
Risk assessment and Portfolio optimization:
- Define and monitor Risk management metrics and data visualization effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision- making, escalate issues that threaten portfolio.
- Explore data analysis, backtest in both internal and external data services & propose to implement in order to manage portfolio risk targets.
Credit decision engine:
- Work with Product and IT to build Credit decision engine aligned with risk management procedures
- Develop, enhance and monitor the performance of the credit scoring systems and statistical models in credit decisions.
Stakeholder collaboration and Partnerships:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to keep ahead with industry trends and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including product development, data analytics, and corporate risk management to align underwriting practices with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
Business plan: Support in working with cross- functional teams ( Product and Finance) for business plans, forecasting models.
REQUIREMENTS
What you need to succeed in this role:
Minimum 2 years of experience in credit (underwriting & operations) and/or recovery/collections
Performance driven and ability to work under pressure to meet targets
Knowledge and experience in financial product development
Strong knowledge of lending principles and credit management in Financial Service environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze and interpret credit and repayment data
Experience in managing a team and work collaboratively with cross functional/department team members across the company
Ability to execute and drive projects to completion in a timely manner
