JOB DESCRIPTION
The objective of the role:
You can expect to learn about new bookkeeping tools and software, prepare journal entries, track and analyze transactions, prepare transactions for financial reports while staying up- to- date with relevant accounting standards and technological developments, and more.
As an Accounting Intern, you will be learning about all facets of an accounting cycle by supporting our senior Accountants with daily tasks and activities.
Detailed responsibilities/accountabilities
As an Accounting Intern, you will assist with the daily accounting processes of the entities of the group. Under the direct responsibility of the general accountant, you will have diverse and various tasks which are divided into two main categories: classic accounting duties and administrative work, including:
• Working with bookkeeping software.
• Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
• Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
• Final year student or fresh graduate, majoring inAccounting/Auditing/Finance.
• Available for a 6- month FULL- TIME internship
• Being motivated in working in accountancy at theinternational level.
• Having a basic understanding of accountancy andbookkeeping.
• Good command of English is required (both verbal &written).
• Good ability to use Microsoft Office
(especially Excel) is necessary.
