OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

The
Head of Omni- Channel Marketing and Digital Growth
at August Berg will spearhead our marketing and eCommerce initiatives, emphasizing community growth, engagement, CRM strategy, and holistic brand stewardship. This role demands a blend of strategic vision and hands- on execution, focusing on expanding our community to 100,000 members within the first 12 months, growing eCommerce revenue through data- driven strategies, and taking full P&L responsibility for eCommerce to ensure financial targets are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CRM and Community Growth:

Develop and execute a CRM strategy to grow the August Berg community to 100,000 members within the first 12 months.
Collaborate with external email marketing agencies to drive community engagement and expansion.

eCommerce Strategy & Performance & P&L Responsibility:

Lead global and regional eCommerce strategy, aligning it with marketing and community goals.
Implement SEO, paid search, and affiliate marketing best practices, collaborating with the eCommerce team to achieve performance KPIs.
Drive online sales growth through user experience optimization and personalized marketing, while taking full P&L responsibility for eCommerce.

Global and Regional eCommerce Growth:

Expand eCommerce across markets, ensuring a seamless experience tailored to regional needs.
Manage relationships with third- party platforms and marketplaces for optimal sales performance.

Brand Strategy and Execution:

Ensure consistent brand messaging and customer experience across all materials and channels in collaboration with cross- functional teams.
Direct global marketing strategies across digital and traditional platforms.

Retail and Trade Marketing:

Build relationships with distributors and retailers, leveraging online and offline channels for brand presence and sales.

Cross- Functional Collaboration:

Align marketing and eCommerce strategies across departments, including IT and logistics, to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
Oversee the coordination of marketing and eCommerce calendars across channels.

Digital Transformation & Optimization:

Lead digital and eCommerce transformation efforts using data- driven strategies, focusing on customer experience and market productivity.

eCommerce Analytics, KPIs, and Consumer Insights:

Track and report on key eCommerce performance metrics, using data insights to drive segmentation and personalization strategies.

Innovation in Marketing & eCommerce:

Implement innovative strategies to improve customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall brand performance.

Trade Marketing Expertise:

Enhance in- store and online brand visibility through trade and eCommerce marketing.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field. Master or MBA preferred.
Proven experience in a senior managerial role within the watch, luxury goods, or consumer brands industry with a focus on eCommerce.
Creativity, resilience, and a results- driven approach, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast- paced environment.
Proficiency in eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and performance analytics.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage global and regional eCommerce initiatives.
Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross- functional and global teams.
Strong understanding of eCommerce, market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
