JOB DESCRIPTION
1
. Before class:
· Collectstudent’s workbook to check and correct student’s homework
· Be readyin class 30 minutes before the lesson starts
· Reviewprevious lesson content with provided materials
· Set upclassroom and organise the classroom resources before the students arrive
During class:
· Spend afew minutes with teachers confirming the lesson number/content/activities
· Helpstudents to communicate in English as much as possible and speak English at alltimes, except when the message cannot be conveyed in English
· Motivatechildren to tidy up at the end of the lesson to keep their bags organized andensure the classroom and resources are ready for the next class
· Monitorstudents during lesson to make sure that they are on task and maintain strongstudent management based on the teachers expectations
· Beresponsible for children at break times and before, after and between classes
· Encourageand assist students when having Project lessons, without doing their work
· Supportteachers to demonstrate classroom activities so that students understand whatthey have to do
· Helpteachers with attendance check and deal with latecomers by arranging theirseats
Fulfill admin tasks:
· Uploaddaily report (attendance, homework, teaching records)
· Orallytranslate during meetings between teachers and parents when necessary.
· Deliverstudents’ homework status to teachers after class
· Deliverstudents to the lobby
REQUIREMENTS
· Be ableto work on weekends and two weekday evenings from 5pm – 9pm
· Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.
· Have acompassionate and positive attitude in teaching/education
· Bewilling to work with children and young teenagers
· Possessing IELTS/TOEICis preferred
· Haveexcellent command of English, especially pronunciation and grammar
