Head of Procurement

Utilize data analysis to drive strategic purchasing decisions and quickly adapt to market trends
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics, to develop and implement cost- saving initiatives
Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing vendor performance and addressing any issues or disputes that may arise
Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies in line with the company&039;s objectives
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and contractual agreements
Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreed- upon terms and conditions, quality standards, and delivery schedules
Oversee and manage the entire procurement process, from conducting market research to contract negotiation and supplier evaluation
Inspire, motivate, train, coach, and develop the procurement team to achieve outstanding performance.
Identify, evaluate and engage with new and potential suppliers to drive innovation and value, ensuring their capability to meet quality, price, and delivery requirements

Ability to manage multiple priorities, balancing both external and internal demands.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
University degree or above.
8+ years or above of working experience in supplier management or procurement management within the electronics manufacturing or PCBA industry
Must be open to feedback and can be flexible and adaptable
Readily able to learn and adapt to new computer applications, system upgrades and other technology as necessary.
Excellent attention to detail. Able to work well under pressure; strong sense of urgency.
Preferred to the experience of high mix and low volume purchasing
Demonstrated ability to handle special assignments with professionalism and urgency.
Extensive experience in problem analysis and resolution.
Proficiency in office software tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP systems is highly desirable.
Proven ability to deliver results independently as well as collaboratively.
Adept at thriving in a cross- organizational, cross- cultural, and global team environment.
