Head Of Product Research And Development

Strategic Leadership:

Lead the creation of a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market demands and technological advancements.
Develop and execute the overall product research and development strategy aligned with the company&039;s business objectives.

Team Management:

Build and lead a high- performing team of product managers, researchers, and developers.

Innovation and Research:

Drive research initiatives to uncover market needs and customer preferences, translating findings into actionable product development strategies.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation.

Product Development:

Oversee the end- to- end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring high- quality and timely delivery.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to bring products from concept to market.

Budget and Resource Management:

Ensure efficient utilization of resources and make data- driven decisions to enhance productivity.
Manage the budget for product research and development, optimizing resources to achieve strategic goals.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes to deliver products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the success of product development efforts.

Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment between product development and overall business strategies.
Communicate regularly with executive leadership, providing updates on product development progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Bachelor&039;s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) in product management, research, and development leadership roles.
Demonstrated success in bringing innovative products to market.
Strong understanding of technology trends and the ability to apply them strategically.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short- term goals and long- term vision.
Excellent leadership and team- building skills, with a track record of managing high- performing teams.
