Head of Software Architect & AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Technical & AI Engineering to lead our technology team in developing cutting- edge products. This individual will be responsible for overseeing software development and AI engineering efforts, ensuring the delivery of high- quality and scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation in the tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:
Lead, mentor, and grow a high- performing team of software developers and AI engineers.
Develop and execute the technical strategy for software development and AI engineering.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align technical initiatives with business goals.
Software Development:
Drive the development of robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Oversee the end- to- end software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Ensure the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
AI Engineering:
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data- driven solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, integrating relevant technologies into the company’s products.
Lead the design and implementation of AI and machine learning models to enhance product capabilities.
Technical Excellence:
Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
Identify and address technical debt, ensuring long- term sustainability of the codebase.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the technical team.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
Communicate technical concepts and project status effectively to both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our technical achievements and capabilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Java, Python… or similar.
Experience in AI and machine learning, with experience in deploying AI solutions in production environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse technical team.
Excellent problem- solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and its impact on the business.
Proven experience (8+ years) in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern software development tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automated testing and deployment.
Knowledge of data science, big data technologies, and statistical analysis.
Experience in a startup environment, with a track record of scaling technology teams and solutions.
