Overall Job Purposes
Executes customs clearance and transportation
Follow and control the customs clearance and trucking flow of the shipments
Interacts with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required
Performs assigned tasks to meet the customer and DHL KPI for the shipment
Works on other customs tasks if required
Co- operate with customers/ supplier/ customs officer to execute the customs clearance and trucking for cargoes
Conducts classification of goods based on information provided by the customers (priority of experience in medical equipment, electronics, food)
Performs archiving of customs documents
Main Tasks & Key Responsibilities
Resolves customer issues, handles and solves incidents (e.g. escalations, disputes)
Follow & control the customs and trucking flow of the shipment to ensure the schedule required
Executes customs entries and performs customs security filings in adherence to internal procedures and latest local customs regulations
Works on post clearance modifications and other customs tasks needed
Control suppliers for timestamp update as requirement of KPI
Make the report internally and externally
Co- operate and manage suppliers to strictly follow the SOP required in handling cargoes Ensures completeness and correctness of customs paperwork
Conducts classification of goods based on information provided by the customers
Performs archiving of customs documents based on legal requirements
Interacts with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers, if required
Consult the customer about the customs regulation if required
Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of customs regulation
Experience in customs clearance of medical equipment, electronics, food is a priority
Good skills in communications and problem solving
High degree of written, verbal and organizational skills
Good in English, especially in writing and speaking
With standing high pressure ability
Results driven and attention to details
Open- minded attitude in works
Customs brokerage license (if applicable)
