BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
The FCS Internship program benefits both the U.S. Embassy and student interns by providing a valuable educational experience to students while helping the Embassy accomplish important mission goals.
FCS Intern will be responsible for:
Assisting with client communications and other tasks as required. Most duties will be performed in English.
Providing outreach support for U.S. companies operating in Vietnam.
Working with U.S. Commercial Service Office to coordinate preparations for U.S. trade events in Vietnam.
Assisting in researching, editing, and writing market research reports, contact lists, and promotional materials.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must address the requirements listed below with specific information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.
Students who are either Vietnamese citizens or Vietnamese permanent legal residents are eligible for the intern program. For permanent legal residents, a valid legal residency permit is required for consideration.
Students must be at least 18 years old at the time of participation in the program.
Students must be able to obtain and hold the medical and security certification from the Embassy.
Students must be currently enrolled as a college/university student in Vietnam through the entire duration of the internship.
Students must be in good academic standing at their current educational institution and provide a certified transcript and must provide written permission from the educational institution in which the student is enrolled.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a dynamic team
Must be fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing English.
Background in International Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.

POSITION: Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) Student Intern (13 positions)
Part- time (10- 20 hours/week)
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
PDS Student Interns will undertake various daily responsibilities crucial to supporting public outreach and engagement, exchanges, strategic communications and support for the American Center (AC), Education USA Center (EdUSA), Fulbright, Culture, Media, Digital and Regional English Language Office (RELO). PDS Student Interns will assist in organizing PDS programs, maintaining databases, translating documents, conducting reports, designing, and editing e- products, provide support for social media content creation across various platform, and other administrative duties as needed.

Part- time (10- 20 hours/week)
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
The FMC Student Internship benefits both the U.S. Embassy and students by providing a valuable educational and job- training experience to students while assisting the U.S. Embassy in accomplishing important mission goals.
The FMC Student Intern will be responsible for:
Manage incoming and outgoing documents in both digital and paper form;
Provide support with simple transactions in the accounting system. In addition, the intern will assist with general FMC administrative tasks.
Support team with filling and maintaining the digital master file;
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands- on experience in FMC operations and contribute to FMC team’s success.
