JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Entrance Duties:
Provide warm hospitality to customers: greet all guests warmly and with enthusiasm, open and hold the main door when welcome and see off the guests
Assist guests with their requirements for taxi, direction, and information
Always present visible at the main entrance and lobby area
Customer Relations:
Establish a warm and personalized relationship with customers. Take care guests to ensure all guests have unforgettable experiences during their journeys with Somerset Grand Hanoi (from arrival to departure) Anticipate guests’ needs and take them into consideration. Coordinate with relevant people or concerned departments to meet the requirements of the guests
Provide information about the hotel&039;s facilities and services. Attempt to sell the hotel’s services as well as to promote the ASR Loyalty program to customers
Ensure the guest’s comfort and satisfaction by addressing inquiries or assisting in problem resolution when necessary
Other Responsibilities:
Assist Doorman and Runner to monitor and ensure a smooth traffic flow at the driveway
Be fully conversant with the hotel’s fire and life safety/ emergency procedures
Exercise caution and attention to identify any unusual activities or security risks
Ensure the entrance area is always clean and tidy
Inspect and report issues related to hygiene or order as needed
Immediately report any issues related to security or safety
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Guest Service Manager
Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel’s entrance and lobby area
Effective Interaction:
Communicate professionally with all levels of staff and customers
Adjust communication style to accurately reflect the hotel&039;s culture and values
REQUIREMENTS
- Able to converse well in English.
- Good coordination skills, meticulous, organized, neat, and diligent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office eg. MSWord and MSExcel.
- Candidates who can speak Korean or Japanese is an advantage and will be paid a language allowance
- Fresh graduates from the Hospitality University or/and Linguistic University (major: English) are encouraged to apply.
