COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Trung tâm Giáo dục Thiên nhiên (ENV) được thành lập vào năm 2000, là một trong những tổ chức xã hội đầu tiên về bảo tồn động vật hoang dã (ĐVHD) tại Việt Nam. ENV đi đầu trong nỗ lực chấm dứt nạn buôn bán ĐVHD trái phép ở Việt Nam bằng cách áp dụng các chiến lược sáng tạo nhằm hoàn thiện các quy định pháp luật về bảo vệ ĐVHD, thúc đẩy công tác thực thi, trực tiếp hỗ trợ các cơ quan chức năng trong công tác xử lý vi phạm và huy động sự tham gia của cộng đồng nhằm giảm thiểu nhu cầu và ngăn chặn vi phạm về ĐVHD. ENV cam kết luôn nhất quán với sứ mệnh của mình là đảm bảo một tương lai tốt đẹp hơn cho các loài động vật hoang dã, cả ở Việt Nam và trên toàn cầu.
Kể từ năm 2007, ENV tập trung hoạt động vào BA lĩnh vực trọng tâm mang tính chiến lược nhằm chấm dứt hoạt động buôn bán ĐVHD trái phép tại Việt Nam
• Giảm thiểu nhu cầu tiêu thụ các sản phẩm từ ĐVHD thông qua các chiến dịch dài hạn, bền vững nhằm thay đổi nhận thức và hành vi của cộng đồng. Đồng thời, khuyến khích cộng đồng tích cực tham gia bảo vệ ĐVHD bằng cách thông báo các dấu hiệu vi phạm đến cơ quan chức năng địa phương hoặc đường dây nóng miễn phí về bảo vệ ĐVHD 1800- 1522.
• Phối hợp với các nhà hoạch định chính sách nhằm tăng cường thể chế, khắc phục lỗ hổng pháp luật và khuyến khích thực thi hiệu quả các chính sách, pháp luật về bảo vệ ĐVHD;
• Tăng cường hiệu quả thực thi pháp luật thông qua việc trực tiếp hỗ trợ các cơ quan chức năng trong công tác ngăn chặn và đẩy lùi các vi phạm về ĐVHD;

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Communications officer is responsible for developing and carrying out the activities of ENV’s communications and public awareness program (CPA). This position entails responsibility for delivery of specific outputs and maintenance of ENV communications systems.
• Coordinate the development, production, and effective release of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) on TV
• Prepare monthly reports and associated reporting requirements
• Manage and promote ENV messaging to Vietnamese audiences through a range of viral and social media communications channels including distribution lists, Facebook, and other mechanisms
• Work with multiple stakeholders to develop and produce other ENV resources
• Maintaining ENV’s VN- EN websites
• Produce regular media statements on key issues in collaboration with other departments to Vietnamese audiences, especially journalists
• Coordinate ENV’s specific campaigns with the media, hosting press conferences and media workshops
REQUIREMENTS
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel
• Open- minded and can easily adapt to ENV’s non- traditional way of working
• University degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, or Marketing; from 1- 2 years of relevant experience
• Critical thinking and problem- solving skills
• Experience in website development, graphic design and visual communication skills are advantageous
• Knowledge of conservation issues, especially demand reduction campaigns (preferred)
• Ability to pay attention to details and take initiative
• Excellent communications skills both in Vietnamese and English language written and verbal communication
• Outward character and diplomatic skills

Position Description
The Policy and Legislation Program Officer is responsible for development and execution of ENV’s legislative and policy advocacy program.
Responsibilities Include:
• Work with the Wildlife Crime Unit on major cases requiring support or involvement of decision- makers in reaching a successful outcome
• Work with the Communications and Public Awareness (CPA) team to synchronize outputs that lend support to ENV policy and legislative objectives
• Design and execute other means to build support amongst decision- makers for key ENV policy and legislative objectives such as campaigns on particular issues, publications targeting decision makers such as the Wildlife Crime Bulletin, press conferences, etc.
• Research and provide inputs on drafting laws and legislation upon requests from the ENV Management Board and/or Policy and Legislation Program Manager
• Produce project concepts, implement approved projects that are assigned by the ENV Management Board and/or Policy and Legislation Program Manager
• Contact and/or set up regular meetings with key decision- makers at the central and provincial level to solicit support on matters relevant to conservation such as strengthening the law or addressing loopholes in the law, and building support for specific decisions or policies of government
Additional Tasks
• Maintain an up to date law library including English and Vietnamese copies of all laws relevant to wildlife protection and a summary document highlighting the main importance of each law
• Maintain and develop the contact list of key policy makers and government partners to keep the list updated in close cooperation with the CPA department contact database
• Coordinate production and distribution of the quarterly Wildlife Crime Bulletin
• Produce monthly report, monthly donor report, and other reports upon request of the ENV Management Board and/or Policy and Legislation Program Manager
REQUIREMENTS
• Open minded and possess strong potential to quickly learn new ideas and adapt to ENV’s non- traditional way of working
• Knowledge of conservation issues (preferred)
• Female, Vietnamese
• Knowledge of government structure and mechanics (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree related to Law, Policy & Legislation
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Having at least 3 years of working experience in related law firms
• Excellent Vietnamese and English language written and verbal communication skills
• Outward character and diplomatic skills

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a WCU (Wildlife Crime Unit) Coordinator, you will receive reports from the public of wildlife violations at restaurants, markets, residences, and online. You will address these violations through collaboration with authorities. It is imperative to track open cases online through ENV’s Wildlife Crime Incident Tracking database. To maintain updated records of wildlife crime and authority response, you will need to report results. For each case, you will experience the feeling of success knowing you played a key role in stopping crime, rescuing animals, and saving wildlife from sure death in the hands of restaurant owners, sellers, and traffickers.
* Main duties:
• Conduct daily/weekly reviews of cases to ensure progress and resolution
• Complete other duties and assignments as specified by the Manager
• Manage routine administrative duties of the WCU
• Communicate with the manager
• Support Wildlife Crime Unit (WCU) supervisor to ensure that overall performance of the team meets requirements and expectation.
• Update the documentation, tracking, and management of all cases under the WCU
• Manage ENV’s supplemental document system
REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written Vietnamese, including professional document writing
