PURPOSES
The Human Resource Manager will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring organization culture development, talent succession planning, legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy
RESPONSIBILITIES
Improve management/employee communications, including mediating in disputes and advising line managers on how to implement personnel policies.
Build and implement a system to evaluate personnel performance
Overall control of the HR function to preserve and facilitate company strategy.
Plan and direct employee training and development programs, especially in leadership, company culture and professional training.
Develop remuneration and reward policies.
Formulate personnel systems and strategies appropriate to the company’s corporate mission and goals.
Recruit and select appropriate staff for the job.
Ensure that health and safety procedures are adequate.
Plan and effectively develop talent acquisition and management programs.
Build succession planning programs
Ensure compliance with employment law.
DUTIES
Main Duties:
Organizational culture: Build strong culture in learning and leadership;
Performances: Plan, lead, develop and direct performance evaluation; increase productivity, recognition, and morale of organization;
Compliances: Monitor and ensure the organizations compliance with state employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Adapting changes: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
Talent management: Build and maintain effective talent management system and succession plan in alignment to organization’s strategy; identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
Budget: Develops and implements departmental budget.
Reports: Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
Internal needs: Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
Compensation and Benefits: Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations;
Supervisory:
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.
