Industrial Engineer Intern

Job Overview
Conduct studies to determine and analyze the work sequence of machine/people operations and workflow using time study/observation tools and propose solutions to reduce waste and optimize machine and people utilization under the instruction from Site IE.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Adhere Company Safety Rules
Study and propose optimizations for balancing workload and people utilization at dedicated workstations/areas by applying Lean Manufacturing Tools.
Apply time study, motion study and work sequence analysis to evaluate work methods and standards for Planned Maintenance (PM) activities.
Analyze and propose waste reduction opportunities for forklift operations, spaghetti chart analysis, and optimize work sequence and manpower by applying Lean Manufacturing Tools.
Adhere Company quality systems
Having the authorities within the assigned function
Key performance indicator (KPI) / Program qualification criteria

Develop a full proposal structure using the DMAIC approach (Define – Measure – Analyze – Improve – Control).

3. Program duration: 6 months, working on- site with 5 days per week, advance approval is required in case of absence.
Competencies required
Technical
Lean manufacturing tool & IE tools ( Time study techniques as: work sampling, time study), MTM, work sequence analysis – gantt chart tool, 7 wastes, 5S)
Industrial engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Minitab, Manufacturing simulation)
Power BI
Analytical and problem- solving skills
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Behavioral
Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for industrial system engineering
Sense of responsibility
