We are looking for a detail- oriented and responsible Accountant cum Administrative Officer to manage day- to- day accounting operations and administrative duties for our growing IT company in Cau Giay, Ha Noi. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with Vietnamese tax laws, financial reporting standards, and internal controls, while also providing general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties (approx. 70 percentages)
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with Social Insurance (BHXH), Health Insurance (BHYT), and Unemployment Insurance (BHTN) contributions.
Support year- end financial statements preparations
Keep updated with changes in tax regulations and accounting laws in Vietnam.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and follow up on payments.
Reconcile bank statements and handle petty cash.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports, including: VAT (GTGT) CIT (Corporate Income Tax), PIT (Personal Income Tax), Foreign Contractor Withholding Tax.
Record daily transactions, maintain accounting books, and manage entries in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
Participate in providing explanations to tax audit and finalization
Support accounting team in Australia with bookkeeping.
Coordinate with external accounting service providers or tax agents (if applicable).Prepare contracts and issue invoices; monitor invoicing progress based on instalment schedule and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
Administrative Duties (approx. 30 percentages)
Prepare and manage office documents such as contracts, official letters, purchase orders, etc.
Oversee general office administration: manage office supplies, company assets, handle incoming/outgoing correspondence, and support coordination of internal activities.
Provide logistical support for activities such as training sessions, office events, team building, and other internal programs.
Support Director/Management in general office operations as needed.
Assist with purchases and procurement of office supplies and vendor management.Manage employee records and labor contracts; monitor attendance, leave, and handle procedures related to social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in accordance with regulations.
Conduct recruitment activities: post job ads, screen applications, onboard and guide new employees.
Draft, issue, and archive administrative documents such as: announcements, decisions, templates, reports, etc.
