Inventory & Logistics Manager (US Company)

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Work closely with production planning and purchasing, sourcing, Trade Compliance, and financial team for high- level inventory report/ customs requirements and regular meetings plus the strategy planning of supply chain and material demand
Review and revise as necessary Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/Work Instructions (WI) for inventory control and traffic processes and ensure functionality to better serve production and customers
Working with various selected carriers to eliminate transportation delays, reduce transportation costs, and improve overall quality and time in transit performance
Open communication with internal and external customers worldwide, which will be essential in continuing to evaluate and implement procedures to enhance the quality and performance of the traffic department
Oversee and develop inventory and traffic supervisors, leaders, and operator’s performance
Establish traffic and inventory department goals.
Monitor and continuously Improve traffic processes (pre- pack, billing, boxing, shipping, packaging list documents) for effectiveness and 100% accuracy
Lead and manage all the continuous improvement projects related to inventory and traffic/pre- pack area including but not limited to safety, ROCK, audit finding, QP, EHS as well as other areas as needed
Ensure Implementation of inventory principles on material traceability compliance, FIFO, cycle count accuracy, discrepancy management, stock level control, and shelf utilization
Lead monthly/regular stocktaking activity and drive the discrepancy analysis and CA execution/effectiveness, summarize stocktaking findings, and propose to management
Management of traffic and inventory group. Performance evaluations, training, and scheduling will be important in developing a productive and efficient traffic department that is driven by spirit and teamwork.

Required Experience

Ability to work and coordinate cross- functional processes
8+ Years’ Experience in material control and inventory, logistic management is preferred
Experience in working with a multinational company
Good command in English and Project management
Good communication skills
Strong analytical & problem solving and interpersonal skills

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
On- the- job experience can replace or supplement educational requirements
