The Japanese IT Comtor acts as a communication bridge between Japanese clients and internal technical teams, with a general understanding of IT processes, terminology, and project workflows.
Responsibilities
Translate and interpret project- related documents (Japanese ↔Vietnamese/English) with high accuracy.
Bridge communication between technical teams and Japanese clients, ensuring clear and accurate information flow.
Assist managers in improving communication efficiency and project quality by identifying issues early and proposing solutions.
Interpret during internal discussions and meetings with Japanese clients, especially in technical and project- related contexts.
Support requirement clarification, task coordination, and expectation alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Energetic, proactive, and highly responsible at work.
Ability to process information quickly, identify issues, and proactively contribute ideas to improve work quality with managers.
Good organizational and management skills.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
IT foundational knowledge and ability to understand technical terminology/workflow.
Strong interest in learning Japanese and Japanese culture; enjoys communicating with Japanese partners.
Good English communication and writing skills (a plus)
Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above.
At least 1 year of experience as an IT Comtor is preferred.
