IT infrastructure - Senior Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join the team and take charge of infrastructure initiatives including network upgrades, cyber security standards and other relevant initiatives. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with security best practices by design. You will leverage your expertise in IT infrastructure and project management methodologies to lead cross- functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure the smooth implementation of essential IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage project plans for IT infrastructure initiatives, adhering to established methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Foster a collaborative and results- oriented work environment within the project team.
Effectively allocate resources and coordinate project teams to optimize project efficiency.
Maintain clear and concise project documentation for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Manage project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring adherence to security best practices by design.
Lead and collaborate with cross- functional teams (IT, Security, Operations) to ensure project goals are achieved. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
Implement quality assurance processes to guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of infrastructure solutions.

In- depth understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, including networks, servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications such as PMP or ITIL are desirable.
Minimum 5 years of experience as Infrastructure project delivery & program support, or similar role within a large IT environment.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Strong working knowledge of security best practices and their integration into IT infrastructure design.
Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate across diverse teams.
