Job Responsibilities
Execute, oversee, and monitor security protocols, hardware upgrades, and network maintenance. Address user concerns (100- 200 users), enforce compliance with IT policies, and stay abreast of emerging technologies. Maintain up- to- date technical and procedural documentation. Manage the IT support team, comprising both internal Asian colleagues and external subcontractors. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the IT department in collaboration with senior management.
Accountable for the enhancement of our proprietary Asset monitoring system.
Responsible for supervising IT support and security across the organization&039;s IT infrastructure within the Asian Business Unit. This includes oversight of corporate IT functions (modern workplace, business applications, etc.), data logging, and information security.
Identify development needs and new feature requirements by collaborating with stakeholders. Develop and implement solutions, oversee their scheduling, and ensure their timely and successful delivery.
Led and managed a team of web developers based in Asia. Guide them through the entire lifecycle of the tool, from design and development to implementation, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensure the system&039;s scalability and sustainability.
Maintain communication with the European Headquarters to ensure consistent implementation of global IT policies and procedures within the IT domain.
Oversee the IT budget.
Experience Requirements
Proficiency in overseeing the complete software development lifecycle, leveraging technologies such as PHP, React, NodeJS, Node- RED, and MySQL.
Strong command of computer operating systems, networks, and servers.
Familiarity with SCADA systems would be advantageous.
Experience in leadership and team management.
Skills
Demonstrated leadership and communication prowess.
Proficiency in English is REQUIRED.
Exceptional interpersonal abilities, fostering productive relationships with internal stakeholders, including decision- makers.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Education requirements
Hold a Master’s degree in computer operating systems or software development.
